My name is Cindy, I’m 28 years old, and I currently live in Mainz, Germany. I have 10 years of experience caring for children from newborns to 14 years old. I feel very comfortable with kids and strongly support respectful, attachment-based parenting and breastfeeding. I love playing, painting, drawing, teaching them new things, and, if they’re interested, sharing my native language and culture. I’m a sociable, friendly, respectful, and open-minded person who enjoys traveling and learning new things. I also love to share my country’s traditions and cuisine with others. I spent one year as an Au Pair with a Chilean-German family, caring for two children aged 1 and 3. I was fully involved in their daily routines, including feeding, hygiene, and organization, while also sharing meaningful time, teaching them my language, and fostering independence through love. It was a beautiful experience that deepened my passion for childcare. Later, I worked two years with a German family, taking care of triplets from 3 months to 2 years old and their older brother from 3 to almost 5 years old. I participated in every stage of their development—early stimulation, crawling, walking, eating, and teething—and supported them during illness, administering medication as directed. I managed outings and care for the three babies at once with patience and confidence. I was also their babysitter on evenings and weekends, always showing flexibility and reliability. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life; those children are still part of my heart, and I’m proud they now speak both German and Spanish, carrying a piece of my Colombian culture with them. Currently, I don’t expect to live with a host family, as I live with my brother, a language student in Mainz.
