My best friend was Jack, a gentle and loyal Boerboel, and my little sidekick was Roscoe, a playful and quirky French Bulldog. We were inseparable — whether we were going on long walks, playing in the garden, or just relaxing together, they were family. Since moving to Hamburg for my studies, I’ve missed that daily connection with dogs more than anything.
